   From the User Guide, regarding attachments for Articles it states: "You can add attachments. Only the file extensions defined in your includes/config.php can be uploaded."

   Can this list of valid extensions for attachments be modified or is the list "set in stone". I ask this because I tried to add "doc" to the list as valid attachment extensions but got an error when I tried to attach a file with that extension to the article.

   I made changes for that file and I have a good result. I tried to add the "xml" extension files, but the order is very very important. My configuration for the includes/config.php is like this: $config['attachment_types'] = "pdf|txt|zip|xml|gif|jpg|png";

   Thanks for your suggestion Natanael, I changed up the order and found one combination that worked (as you said, order is important).

   1) $config['attachment_types'] = "doc|gif|jpg|png|zip|txt|pdf"; [Success]
   2) $config['attachment_types'] = "gif|doc|jpg|png|zip|txt|pdf"; [Error]
   3) $config['attachment_types'] = "gif|jpg|doc|png|zip|txt|pdf"; [Error]
   4) $config['attachment_types'] = "gif|jpg|png|doc|zip|txt|pdf"; [Error]
   5) $config['attachment_types'] = "gif|jpg|png|zip|doc|txt|pdf"; [Error]
   6) $config['attachment_types'] = "gif|jpg|png|zip|txt|doc|pdf"; [Error]
   7) $config['attachment_types'] = "gif|jpg|png|zip|txt|pdf|doc"; [Error]
