68KB's article system allows you to add, edit, and delete articles. Below we will go over each of the fields when adding and editing an article.
- Title
- (Required) This is the title for the article.
- URI
- This is what will display in the URL field when some one is visiting the article. This field is not required and the system will automatically format it based off the title. For example if you enter "My Great Article" it will be changed to "my-great-article". You can over-ride this by manually typing this in.
- Short Description
- If entered this will display underneath the article on the category page.
- Description
- (Required) The article contents.
- Category
- (Required) Which category or categories the article belongs to.
- Keywords
- The keywords are used internally to help locate similar articles and when using the contact form.
- Date Added
- You can adjust when the article was added.
- Weight
- All articles are sorted alphabetically but you can override this by using a weight. The higher the weight the sooner the article will appear.
- Display
- (Required) Whether or not to display the article.
- Attachement
- If you want to add any attachments.
